6-9 Months | Cognitive Development
To promote cognitive development, we place the rattle under a cloth. We show the baby where the rattle was and gave her the opportunity to find it. By allowing her to look for an out of site item, we are promoting critical thinking and problem-solving. It is important to provide the activities that promote cognitive development to enhance their thinking about the world around them. Other skills that promote cognitive development includes attention, memory, reason, and understanding of cause and effect. These skills are pre-represents for a successful and trained school year.
